Part 1 of a 2 part Wexford mystery from 1992. Kingsmarkham police are reeling after the death of one of their own in a bank robbery. But things get much worse when a wealthy novellist and her family are found shot to death, with only her teenage niece still alive with gunshot wounds. As pressure mounts to end this recent spate of gun crime, it turns out that there may be a link between this crime and the armed robbery. But any hope of a breakthrough is dealt with a blow with yet another twist in the proceedings...
Starring George Baker, Christopher Ravenscroft, Louie Ramsey, Diane Keen, Jacqueline Defferary, Stephen Mackintosh, Sean Pertwee, Susan Brown, Ken Kitson, Deborah Poplett, David Jackson, Angela Crow, James Ryland and Anne Reid. This is from one of my own from the Wexford series from a combination of a oversees DVD, with opening and closing credits added so that it plays as a complete episode (you'll know what I mean when you view it). This was the first of a 2 part story, and concluded the 1992 series of Wexford, which wouldn't return to British screens for another 4 years.
