An historical fiction thriller based on the dramatic events behind the Dreyfus Affair and Emile Zola's writings entitled "I ACCUSE!", elaborated by the prominent British journalist and novelist Robert D. Harris in his novel "AN OFFICER AND A SPY" (2013) which was inspired by an original Polanski script, treating it mainly as a spy story. The film was originally titled "D", after the initial written on the secret file that secured Dreyfus' conviction. The final screenplay was written by Robert Harris and the Polish-French director, producer, screenwriter and actor -of Jewish descent- Roman Polanski. Produced by the French Alain (Ilan) Goldman and the Italian-Uruguayan Luca Barbareschi (they both are actors, writers and directors of Jewish descent). Τhe movie was filmed entirely in France (mostly at Paris).
