Episode 14. Fleur and Jon continue to see each other, much to the concern of Jolyon and Irene. Both youngsters are intrigued about the family feud, but Irene begs her husband not to tell them. Jolyon has his own secrets he is keeping from his family, while Soames is experiencing marriage problems with Annette. But he is thrown by the visit of Michael Mont, who reveals his own interest in Soames' daughter Fleur... This is from my own video collection, so apologies in advance for any picture quality issues there may be. These episodes from Episode 13 onwards tells the story of the 2nd generation of Forsytes, and include early roles for Susan Hampshire and Martin Jarvis. Despite this, it has to be said that the later series does not retain the same pull as the previous generation. But it's certainly interesting seeing people before they became famous.
