Bognor - Let Sleeping Dogs Die (1981) (Episode 4)

Part 4 of 6 of the Bognor mystery. Rose Jenkins has been found murdered, but Simon finds the local police is not interested in his imput or indeed his presence. And he is surprised when he goes to question Ailsa Potts, only to find the Inspector there, who warns him off. He suspects that Handyside is behind the dog smuggling, switching dud dogs for prized pooch dopplegangers, and goes to question him regarding the disappearance of the "Chewing Gum" dog from the adverts, Raffles. Later Raffles turns up unharmed, but Handyside proves very nervy with the press scrutiny. Deciding that the answers lie in Copenhagen, Bognor decides to travel there, but he is surprised to see a familiar face or two there...
