To try at home you need:
Yupka dough
Honey
Kaimak (clotted cream)
Ground pistachio nuts
Sugar
To prepare:
1. Open the dough to as thin as you can.
2. Tear off the thick ends of the dough, sprinkle a little honey and fold to an envelope while getting rid of thick ends.
3. Sprinkle pistachio generously.
4. And some sugar.
5. And a bit more honey.
6. Spread bits of Kaimak evenly.
7. And a bit more honey.
8. Bring each corner of the envelope to the center to create a perfect rectangle.
9. Place gently on a greased oven pan.
10. Bake in a pre heated oven till golden.
To eat:
Best eaten straight from the oven mixed with vanilla ice cream.
