Overview: An accident with his first tenant, leaves DI Frost handling their police dog in their absence. While dealing with this problem, Frost finds himself tackling two new cases. The first focuses on the suspicious death of Jane Owens, a homeless teenage girl who was found drowned in Denton River. Facts in the case lead him to questioning the origins of her circumstances and her decision to prostitute herself. Meanwhile, his second case focuses on the disappearance of Warren Barber, an environmental health officer who was investigating a local meat processing factory. The case soon becomes murder when a dismembered arm turns up and is identified as Barber's, prompting Frost to suspect he had uncovered something sinister at the factory.
