The Room Below (2026)

The Room Below (2026) is an Australian horror / mystery-thriller directed and written by Kurt Martin, starring Alyssa Sutherland and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. It runs about 1 hour 40 minutes and was released digitally in the U.S. on September 1, 2026 through Uncork’d Entertainment. The story follows Mia, a grieving mother who has lost her son. She befriends another boy while secretly hiding a dangerous creature inside her home. When a retired detective begins investigating the child’s disappearance, her secrets start collapsing and the creature becomes increasingly difficult to control. The cast also includes Gilbert Bradman, Goran D. Kleut, Lauren Grimson, Tristan McKinnon, and Bobby Gilchrist. The movie is currently available to rent or buy on Prime Video and Apple TV in the U.S.
