Starring Ingrid Bergman, Michael Redgrave, Trevor Howard, Ian Richardson, Dilys Hamnett, Ursula Jeans and Beatrice Varley. This 1962 period drama was recently repeated on BBC4 over 60 years after it was originally shown, so I thought I would upload it on here as I don't think it is available elsewhere. Based on Henrik Ibsen's famous play, it may seem a little creaky and overheated today, but it has a stunning star cast for 1962. Redgrave, Richardson, Trevor Howard, plus three time Oscar winner Ingrid Bergman, cast against type but utterly compelling in the lead role. Marvel in the stars and the acting, even if the play may creak now, as they make for fascinating viewing. Enjoy.
