Part 5 of 8 of the historical drama. Sir Lancelot is being nursed by a hermit and Eleanor, who has fallen in love with him, after he was shot with a poisoned arrow. King Arthur and Gawain seek out the cottage of Vavasour's that Gawain discovered earlier, only to find Morgan there, who tells Arthur of the rumour about Lancelot and Guinevere. And when he returns to court he finds Guinevere on trial accused of killing Guido with a poisoned peach and with Guido's brother Modor calling for her to face death in revenge of his brother.
Starring Andrew Burt, David Robb, Felicity Dean, Maureen O'Brien, Steve Hodson, Niall Paddon, Godfrey James, Geoffrey Bateman, Peter Burroughs, Kevin Stoney, Amanda Wissler, Archie Tew and Andrew Halliday. Things are warming up in this rarely repeated historical drama, but one of the most intriguing points of this episode is the character of Eleanor, who later inspired the famous poem of The Lady of Shalot.
