This is the video link to the album channel for Worzel Gummidge (1979-81) and it's sequel, Worzel Gummidge Down Under (1987-89). The series saw two children, John and Sue Peters, move to the country with their father (it never mentions their mother) to live in a caravan on Scatterbrook Farm. While there they encounter a living, walking, talking scarecrow by the name of Worzel Gummidge and before long they are roped into his many escapades as they try to make sure he isn't discovered by the grown ups. Created by The Crowman, Worzel is hopelessly infatuated with Aunt Sally, a dolly that he encounters during a fair and rescues. Hugely popular in it's day, it's still fondly remembered - though I don't think I remembered just how vile Aunt Sally really was until I watched it again as an adult. It ran for 4 series originally until it's surprise axing in 1982 before it returned on Channel 4 in Australia five years later. I only had half of the Down Under series (a fault with the box set), which is why I never uploaded that series and instead the Down Under series comes from Adam (Paul) Adamant's own videos of it (the link to his album of the Australian series can be found here:

However, the original 1979-81 series is my own from my own collection and this video clip comes from it's first episode, when the Peters family first arrive in the village and John encounters Worzel in the field - something that proves rather startling for him! Featuring Jon Pertwee as Worzel, Una Stubbs as Aunt Sally, and Jeremy Austin and Charlotte Coleman as the children, with Charlotte going on to find fame in Educating Marmalade (1981-84), Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit (1990) and the film Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) among her notable successes in her all too brief career.
