S3, Ep 6: William continues to have trouble in the workplace as Jane Spaulding refuses to come back to work over Arnold's relationship with Mrs Ball, but she is outraged when Mrs Ball then takes over her job to help out at the funeral parlour. But it's nothing to the shock they get when their latest client they are attending to seems to of got out the box and come back to life! It's not the only ones with romance problems, with both Kate and Callum and Doris and Eamon at critical moments in their relationship, while there is still Molly battling away with cancer. But what occupies many minds is William's relationship with Mary. With Mary still unresolved about her feelings towards William over the absence of her son Terrence, is there anything William can do to bring her round? Or are they finished for good?
Starring Martin Clunes, Julie Graham, Cheryl Campbell, Michael Begley, Claire Hackett, June Watson, Petra Cornish, Georgina Terry, Ricci McLeod, Dominick Baron, Catherine Terris, James Greene, David Kennedy, Coralie Rose, Connor Byrne, Doug Allen, Silas Carson, Clare McCarron, Peter McQueen, Max Gold, Katie Stratford and Victoria Wellman. This concluded the 3rd and final series of William & Mary, the unlikely hit for ITV that at it's peak got 9 & a half million viewers (very respectable back then, and cracking ratings nowadays). Would there of been a 4th series or did the makers or stars decide to quit while they were ahead? Who knows, but you will have to watch on to find out whether it ended up a bittersweet affair or if it really did have a happy ending. I hope you enjoy it.
