Mr Men - Mr Lazy (1978)

Mr Lazy was lazy by name, lazy by nature. If a job needed doing, it was better someone else did it or not done at all. However on one hot summer's day dozing in the garden in his favourite deckchair, Mr Lazy is visited by two strangers - Mr Bustle and Mr Busy - who decide he needs to get everything in shape and won't take no for an answer! Narrated by Arthur Lowe, this episode was first broadcast on September 19th 1978 as the series started becoming erratic in it's scheduling again. And the Mr Busy that visits Mr Lazy is NOT the later character that appears in a story of his own - another of the Mr Men that strangely did not get taken up for a 3rd series that never materialized.
