Part 5 of 6 of the kids' classic. The Psammead has gone missing from the summerhouse and the children can't find him. But it's not the only thing going wrong at the moment. The parrot has developed the ability to talk and not all of what he says is what people want to hear, while Bessie finds herself the centre of a couple of love rivals as both Dawkins and Albert the milkman rival for her affections. Meanwhile Mr Dobbs and his son Albert plot to frame Dawkins for theft...
