Oscar Bonsetter is an adventurous teen punk who is arrested and sentenced to a lengthy prison term after daringly robbing a liquor store. While in prison, he meets Mac, an elderly inmate who reveals the location of a hidden fortune, but only if Bonsetter promises to kill the prison guard named Gully. Unfortunately, after Mac dies, Gully has taken all of Mac's possessions, including the drawing with the exact spot of the hidden money. After Oscar is released from prison, he embarks on a mission to find the hidden fortune. Gully, now blind, unknowingly provides Bonsetter, who is disguising himself as "Lee," with a job at his diner on the ocean side. Here, Bonsetter meets Gully's captivating and beautiful wife, Rose, played by Joan Severance. The chemistry between Howell and Severance is electric, and their sex scenes on top of the car hood is an artistically erotic masterpiece.
