Two Ronnies' The Secret of the Sorceror's Tomb (1986)

The Two Ronnies decide to spoof the Vikings in this short, as Ronnie Corbett's Mudguard the Mighty takes his band of fierce warriors (plus one not so fierce viking called Pithritt the Pathetic) on a final voyage before his retirement, where he discovers a map for some ancient treasure. Unfortunately he finds his warriors reduced to one after one unexpected incident - guess which one he is left with? Despite this setback, the two decide to carry on in their quest, with hidden dangers awaiting them... Starring Ronnie Corbett, Ronnie Barker and Annabel Price among the cast. This short marked the end of the 12th series of The Two Ronnies, though there would still be the Xmas Special in 1987. As this short has in recent years been criticised by the "usual quarters", I add warning that this comedy has ravaging vikings, a scene involving the mispelling of the guardian of the treasure (which I still found funny) - oh, and it also features nudity! You didn't expect that in a Two Ronnies short, did you?
