Ever since I saw this baked pull-apart garlic cheese bread I just knew I have to give it a try. The melted, gooey cheese is just too tempting. It looks and tastes very good.
The recipe is easy, takes only few minutes to prepare. All you need is a good sharp knife to cut the bread. You can use any favorite cheese or combination of cheeses here. You can always add different herbs or spice. For a more substantial dish, add in some cooked bacon or sausage. Any way you make will be simply great.

Cheese and Garlic Crack Bread (Pull Apart Bread) Recipe
Ingredients
Makes about 8-10 servings
1 round (450-500 grams) unsliced loaf bread
1 cup (100-120 g) shredded cheese (mozzarella, provolone, cheddar, or a mix)
2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
1 cup sliced green onions or minced chives
Cooked bacon or sausage (optional)
100 grams (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
Salt, pepper, spice to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C.
Cut the bread lengthwise and widthwise into cubes without cutting all the way through the bottom crust.
Place it on a foil lined baking sheet.
In a bowl, combine the unsalted butter (melted) with salt, pepper, spice and garlic minced.
Pour the butter-spice-garlic mixture into bread cracks.
Gently stuff the cheese, green onions and cooked bacon into the bread between the slices.
Cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven to 350°F/180°C for 15 minutes.
Uncover the top and bake for another 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is totally melted and the top of the loaf is crispy.
Bon Appetit!
