Pour être certain que les chevaux qu'il prétend jouer ne gagneront pas, il ne sélectionne que des tocards qu'il ne joue naturellement pas. Mais, par extraordinaire, tous ces chevaux arrivent les uns après les autres et madame Topinois qui suivait les résultats à la radio, se voit millionnaire. Le pot aux roses est découvert à l'arrivée de Monsieur Topinois, sorti des bras de Mado et ignorant ces résultats. Summary A brave man wanting to spend the afternoon with his girlfriend, makes his wife believe that he is going to the races and that he is playing there, on the advice of his servant, a "paroli". To be certain that the horses he claims to be playing will not win, he only selects losers that he naturally does not play. But, extraordinarily, all these horses arrive one after the other and Madame Topinois, who was following the results on the radio, sees herself as a millionaire. The pot of roses is discovered when Monsieur Topinois arrives, out of Mado's arms and unaware of these results. Fortunately for him, one of the winning horses was disqualified and the "paroli" was finally lost.
