The Way to Hua Shan

Four Americans climb Hua Shan (华山), one of China's five sacred Daoist mountains, in 1994. Hua Shan is in Shaanxi Province near Xi'an. There are steps all the way up to its 7,000 foot summit, though some (in 1994 at any rate) are nearly vertical. The title comes from an old Daoist saying, "There is only one way to Hua Shan." The video was shot in hi8, before digital video was available to consumers. There is no narration.
