Part 6 of 7 of the 1981 TV adaptation of Sense and Sensibility. Both Elinor and Marianne Dashwood are unhappy in love, as their stay in London continues to prove an unhappy one. While Elinor must contend with the fact that Edward Ferrars cannot and will not go back on his promise to another, Marianne gets steady worse in health as she frets over her love for a increasingly distant Willoughby. But events take a serious turn when Marianne collapses at Mrs Jennings' home, and with Scarlet Fever diagnosed it is touch and go whether she will survive...
