Part 1 of 4 of the children's TV drama, following on the Chronicles of Narnia series. Staying at their cousin Eustace's house over the holidays, Edmund and Lucy are struck by a picture that reminds them of a Narnian ship when suddenly all three are sucked into the portrait. They find themselves sailing on the Dawn Treader with Prince Caspian, now grown up, who is on a quest to find the Seven Lords that were friends of his father that are scattered upon five islands, and who he must find before seeking to find the safe haven of Aslan's Land... Starring Jonathan R Scott, Sophie Wilcox, David Thwaites, Samuel West, John Hallam, Warwick Davis, Guy Fithen, Neil McGrath, Gabrielle Anwar and Kenny Baker among the cast. This was originally broadcast on December 3rd 1989, and followed on from Prince Caspian that year in the run up to Christmas. This series is also notable for having pre fame appearances by Samuel West (as Prince Caspian) and Gabrielle Anwar, 3 years before she became a star in Scent of a Woman, and here playing a Princess.
