It really helps to get you seen and to spread your content around the web! 🤗Think about making a Facebook page (not your profile, a fan page) and post updates there! Link to your page on your Youtube too, that way people can also interact with you easier and see realtime updates 😊 It also gives you a place to share your videos, and then they may get shared around Facebook! Definitely ask your Facebook friends to like and support your page too. It helps! 🤗Also post to Twitter. I know not a lot of people really get on there much anymore, but if you use the right tags it will help your videos get seen! And link to your channel in your Twitter bio. Some tags I use are #youtube, #gaming, #vlogs, #animation, etc. 🤗Tumblr. Maybe think about creating a Tumblr where you post updates, a bit about yourself, and your videos! It also gives another platform for people to interact with you on, and of course the tagging system will get your stuff seen. Just be sure to post other things too, like a description of the video in a video post instead of just a link by itself. 🤗Most importantly though, at least for me, people like to know you are a real person. They like to see you talk to them, post about every day stuff, and just generally show your personality in all you do, even just posting text. Being a 'posting robot' (just posting links and videos with nothing else) only looks like spam and is really unappealing. But that's just my two cents. These are some things I do and abide by as a Youtuber. I feel they have helped and I wanted to address to beginners as well ways to spread their stuff around, because I've seen people asking how to get started with no answers. Remember not to spam people of course, and let your personality shine. Ever watch Jacksepticeye or Markiplier? People love them because they are HUMAN. They did more than blind promotion. They commented on others' videos, supported other people too, and were just generally having fun. Use social media sites to their full advantages, and don't be a robot! Always respond to comments and talk/engage with your viewers! It creates a great community feel.
