Something Like Summer is a 2017 drama musical film based upon the 2011 Young Adult novel Something Like Summer by Jay Bell and the first entry in the Something Like... series. Something Like Summer traces the tumultuous relationship of secret high school sweethearts, Ben and Tim. After Tim's fear of exposure tears the couple apart, Ben begins dating charming flight attendant Jace. But Ben's happiness is upended when Tim reappears years later, intent on winning him back. With Tim and Jace in open war for his affection, Ben must grow up and fight for his own happiness.
