Sting feat. Cheb Mami - Desert Rose Live (Sting's House in Tuscany, 2001-09-10)

This is taken from the dress rehearsal of Sting's famous All-This-Time-concert in Tuscany, which took place one day later, on 9/11. The song was not featured in the actual concert, most probably due to the events of that particular day (there were long discussions whether the band should play at all). I find it one of the most beautiful performances of "Desert Rose". Both, Sting and Cheb Mami, as well as the rest of the band, are in great form. It also features a belly dancer. To watch this is to know that Western and Eastern are much closer than the media and politicians want us to believe.
