Magnum P.I. (S6, Ep 9 - The Treasure of Kalaniopu'u) (1985)

S6, Ep 9: The Treasure of Kalaniopu'u. Robin Masters' publisher buries a chest containing $1 million on Oahu and a contest is held to find it. Magnum is tasked with protecting the woman who has the clues to the chest's whereabouts. Unfortunately as the story begins the group finds themselves being held at gunpoint on top of a cliff, leading to Magnum to explain to the audience in flashback just how they came to be in this situation to begin with. Starring Tom Selleck, John Hillerman, Roger E Mosley, Larry Manetti, Nancy Stafford, Kathleen Lloyd, Beverly Todd, Michael Swan, Gillian Dobb, Kwan Hi Lim, Glenn Cannon, James Grant Benton, Chip Heller, Barbara Fitzsimmons, Richard Sandford, Steve Goldsberry, Mary Ann Kirkham, Gerold Tracy, Maile Kimimaka and Bentley Alama. Another fun episode in which most of the regulars and various other residents go on a big treasure hunt about Hawaii, not realizing that someone is not to be trusted. It's highly enjoyable fare in what has been a good 6th series in a Magnum back on form.
