In doing so, he acted as a bridge to the once-reclusive and mysterious Japanese culture, not just for me, but for everyone involved. The lyrics saw two revisions before seeing the current form you see right now. But along the way, I learned the original Mahiwaga was a religiouly-oriented song, and it's not strange, since it was used for the teleserye 100 Days to Heaven, which is about ascendance to Heaven in 100 days, but by correcting one's errors. My only insecurity is that it may not sound fluently natural, but I've got help to make sure the issue would be minimal if not nonexistent. But why did I have to produce a Japanese version of our very own music? I wanted to share this very powerful and moving music to them as well, and in a tone they can relate to very well. Call me a Japanophile, but Japan and Japanese people have had a lot of involvement in my life, and this is among the fitting tributes to them.
