Part 2 of 3 of the 1999 drama. Marilyn has a week to find a buyer for the collection of photographs, on the condition that Oswald leaves the building and not come back. Christopher Anderson is confident they will fail, though he finds himself drawn to the enigmatic Marilyn. Oswald meanwhile, devastated at losing his job and refusing to accept defeat, decides to take drastic action...
Starring Lindsey Duncan, Timothy Spall, Liam Cunningham, Billie Whitelaw, Emilia Fox, Andy Serkis, Arj Barker, Blake Ritson, Sheila Dunn, Jean Channon, Jennifer House, Kenneth W Caravan, Judith Jarvis and Emma Sackville, Part 2 and director Stephen Poliakoff is uncompromising in his pace and direction of his drama, but he's helped by his ever enthusiastic cast, including Timothy Spall and Lindsay Duncan, who is as engaging in this as anything I've seen her in. But just in case the story feels a little slight to be stretched to 3 episodes, there is a dramatic turn of events that leaves someone's life hanging in the balance. Please note that this contains some swearing and nudity.
