Suphi's lover Iffet dies as a result of an accident. Feeling responsible for the accident, Suphi loses his sanity. He starts to create a story in his mind. In the story, İffet is killed first. The autopsy reveals that İffet was killed by one of the murder methods that leave no trace. His brother-in-law, Professor İsmail Sami, raises suspicions on Suphi. Suphi, together with İsmail Sami's assistant Meryem, begins to reveal the truth behind the events. But events become complicated when Suphi himself begins to doubt the facts. Konu : Film, Suphi’nin çevresindeki insanları, yarattığı hayal dünyasında bir araya getirişini anlatır. Suphi’nin sevgilisi İffet bir kaza sonucu ölür. Meydana gelen kazada sorumluluk hisseden Suphi akıl sağlığını yitirir. Zihninde bir hikâye oluşturmaya başlar. Hikâyede ilkin İffet öldürülür. Yapılan otopsi sonucu İffet’in iz bırakmayan cinayet metotlarından birisince öldürüldüğü ortaya çıkar. Eniştesi Profesör İsmail Sami şüpheleri Suphi'ye çeker. Suphi, İsmail Sami’nin asistanı Meryem ile birlikte olayların arkasındaki hakikatleri açığa çıkarmaya başlar. Fakat Suphi’nin kendisinin de gerçeklerden şüphe etmeye başlamasıyla olaylar karmaşık bir hal alır.
