Original titles recreation included.Originally released on 25th October,1947 and got Blue Ribbon reissued on 10th September,1955.
Points to be noted:
1.When the short was reissued, the cartoon's title was renamed to Dog Gone Cats.
2.The original opening rings, title, and ending card survive on a 16mm print. However, Warner Bros. does not restore non-35mm prints, hence the Blue Ribbon titles were restored instead.
3.Wellington would eventually reappear in "Odor of the Day(1948)", which was the only Pepé Le Pew short to be directed by Arthur Davis (and also had an established Looney Tunes character with a different personality under Arthur Davis' direction).
4.The design of Sylvester's orange cat friend was possibly the inspiration for his brother Alan, who appeared in The Looney Tunes Show episode "Point, Laser Point".
5.On the original credits, it uses "and" for Lloyd Turner & Bill Scott credit. Whereas most other cartoons with two story credits use "~".
All rights goes to Warner Brothers.

Wellington the dog is given a package to deliver to Uncle Louie, with strict instructions not to let go of it. Sylvester and another cat that Wellington has been tormenting see this as their chance to get even. Besides repeatedly filching the package, at one point they drop a duplicate off a bridge. Wellington still manages to retrieve the package a few times, but never for long.
Enjoy it,Folks!
