Pizza Pizza Daddy-O (Bess Lomax Hawes, 1967)

Looks at continuity and change in girl's playground games at a Los Angeles school. Bess Lomax Hawes was a singer, teacher, and folklorist who was part of the leading family of American folk studies (Daughter of John A. Lomax and Bess Brown Lomax, and sister of Alan Lomax). She is probably most famous for co-writing "M.T.A." Its melody comes from two old folk songs to which new lyrics were written. https://www.imdb.com/fr/name/nm2318994/
