SIM Milestones Video (accompanied by Aspirations Overture)

Initiated in 1964 by the Economic Development Board (EDB) with the mandate to develop managers and leaders to support Singapore’s economic development, SIM has since come a long way to be the leading private institution for tertiary education and lifelong learning. Through many innovative and pioneering firsts, SIM has transformed the management and educational landscape and set the benchmark for private education and continuing learning in Singapore. The music accompanying this video was composed by Professor Bernard Tan, SIM Governing Council member and a Professor of Physics at NUS to commemorate SIM’s 50th anniversary. This one-of-a-kind overture for SIM is called the Aspirations Overture and represents the aspirations and ideals fulfilled by SIM over its 50 years of history.
