Part 2 of 6 of the 1990's kids drama. Billy finds himself in a real dilemma when he is due to hand in his school project to his teacher Mrs Peasgood - unfortunately for Billy his books are in his school bag, which he has swapped with Alphonso Bonzo. But while he is easier to find than expected, Alphonso is not so forthcoming when it comes to handing back the bag. But Billy need not worry, for his new bag has mysterious powers that proves very handy on the day, and leaves Billy wondering just who Alphonso Bonzo really is?
Starring Scott Riley, Alex Jennings, Mike Walling, Stuart McNicholl, Lisa O'Connell, Gil Brailey, Bina Masad, Raymond Butcher, Phylis Osie, Dwayne Foster, Susan Porrett, Brian Hall, Fleur Taylor, Damian Williams and Bryan Pringle as the tyrannical headmaster Mr Hardwood. I quite enjoyed Pringle's head, bemoaning at one point to Billy how due to the interference of EU rules he can no longer cane the kids, only because "it takes the fun out of teaching!" And if you recognize Billy's on screen sister it is Fleur Taylor, who played bully Imelda in Grange Hill from 1985 to 1987. His dad, of course is Brian Hall, who is best remembered as the chef in Fawlty Towers.
