S3, Ep 5: Mary is depressed now that Terrence has gone to live with his father Reuben after getting in too deep in gang warfare, and resentful of William, who she blames for his departure. So much so that she begins to fantasize about being with another man - could this leave the door open for Reuben? It could do when William has to perform a service at Brighton for a young lad whose dad has been missing at sea, and where Terrence is staying with his dad. Things aren't much better at William's workplace, where Mrs Spaulding has left after discovering that Arnold has begun dating Wiliam's housekeeper Mrs Ball. The only couple on the up is Doris, who is back with Eamon. But then Mary receives shocking news from the hospital, where Molly's condition takes a turn for the worse...
Starring Martin Clunes, Julie Graham, Cheryl Campbell, Petra Cornish, Georgina Terry, Ricci McLeod, Dominick Baron, Michael Begley, Claire Hackett, Catherine Terris, James Greene, June Watson, Patterson Joseph, David Kennedy, Connor Byrne, Joseph Morgan, Katie Stratford, Coralie Rose, Claire Holman, Callum Williams, Steven Williams, Diana Payan, David McKail and Doug Allen. Episode 5 and the penultimate episode of the final series and things are looking seriously shaky for William and Mary. I know Mary has a lot going on in her life at the moment, but there are times when I just wish someone would give her a shake and tell her not to be so bloody miserable to William. It was her son who chose to get involved in gang culture, and he should think himself lucky he wasn't facing court. Poor William deserves much better, yet he keeps persevering. You're too good for her, love.
(Note: Due to internet trouble today I shall upload the last episode - plus other videos I have left - later tonight. Hope you can wait until then).
