Starring Martin Clunes, Julie Graham, Petra Cornish, Georgina Terry, Dominick Baron, Ricci McLeod, Cheryl Campbell, Michael Begley, Claire Hackett, June Watson, James Greene, Catherine Terris, Sadie Shimmin, Sheila Burrell, Marian McLoughlin, Saskia Wickham, David Westhead and Tony Bluto, Episode 2 of this engaging series and there are times when you wonder whether William might be better just giving up before he tries considering the moods of Mary (played by the lovely Julie Graham). But he is also preoccupied by an elderly client (beautifully played by Sheila Burrell), who asks him to keep check on her as she doesn't want to die undiscovered. While there is some clunky acting from her two sons, the scenes with Clunes and Burrell are lovely. And Saskia Wickham (Clarissa, Boon, Our Friends in the North) makes a surprisingly revealing appearance as a pregnant client of Mary's. Whether it's prosthetics or she was really pregnant when she did this, she's certainly brave! So please note there is some swearing and nudity.
