Maasa criticizes Sandhya for being ignorant of how to touch her elders' feet and receive blessings. Santosh follows Maasa's orders and shows her how. Santosh placates Maasa by gifting her an expensive saree. Sandhya praises Maasa's beauty and satisfies her vanity. Meenakshi persuades Vikram to let her family use the Rathi house to fix her sister's wedding proposal. Sandhya tells Kamla that she did not mind touching Maasa's feet or following her rules. Sandhya goes to Sooraj's room to retrieve her bag but he asks her to leave before anyone sees her. The two of them locked together in the room by mistake.
