Mr Men - Mr Chatterbox (1978)

Mr Chatterbox could talk the hind legs off a donkey. He liked to chat, but often held up other people with his chatter when they needed to get things done. Then the local postman has an idea and gives Mr Chatterbox a most unusual present that has very strange side effects... Narrated by Arthur Lowe, this was originally broadcast on July 18th 1978 and remains one of my favourite Mr Men stories - possibly due to it being somewhat true to my own nature as a kid, so I could identify with the excitable and talkative Mr Chatterbox. Let's face it - couldn't most kids?
