Choral Lab performs "Ave Maria" by Nové Deypalan. This piece was commissioned by the L.A. Choral Lab as part of "Missa Urbis Angelorum", a six-movement compositional cycle to which six Los Angeles-based composers each contributed one movement. "Missa Urbis Angelorum" translates as "Mass of the City of Angels"; the cycle is the L.A. Choral Lab's contribution to the centuries-long tradition of the musical Mass.
