Russian girls twerking in controversial video goes viral, government and others blame Miley and Niki

In the Russian City of Orenburg, a dance school put on a twerking recital that blew the audience away. The routine featured a malnourished bear mascot and a group of girls dressed in sexy honey bee leotards—and plenty of people are mad. With fame comes scrutiny and ridicule. Though the whole routine was amazing, it caused outrage in some quarters, and notably from the Kremlin. The government's children's rights ombudsman condemned the video; many others called it vulgar and insulting. Russia's Investigative Committee is concerned that the dancers are mostly girls under the age of 18.
