Ealing comedy directed by Charles Frend. Following a local competition, two Welsh coalminers win a cash prize as well as a day out in London, which includes tickets to a rugby match at Twickenham. However, when they fail to meet up with newspaper reporter Mr. Whimple (Alec Guinness), the pair get themselves into all kinds of scrapes.
