In October 2014, as part of Sci-Fi: Days of Fear and Wonder, the BFI released a comprehensive DVD box set that brings together all 20 surviving episodes from the four original series, all digitally remastered from the best available materials. Series 1: Photo Gallery. Out of the Unknown is a classic British BBC television science fiction and horror anthology drama series, which was broadcast between 1965 and 1971. It features adaptations of stories by famous authors including Isaac Asimov, J.G. Ballard, Frederik Pohl, and John Wyndham.
