The epic track from their "Sweet Fanny Adams" album of 1974, the metallic sound of "Sweet F.A.". "Hell Raiser" had hinted at it. The B-sides, like "Burning" warned that ominous things were imminent. There was something in the air of which we all would be aware! The labour was over and the beast erupted from the womb! The atomic punk's bubblegum bubble had burst with exquisite technical ecstasy . From that moment on the music would never be the same. Sweet Metal had arrived in all its glory. So many bands followed in its wake, 'though denying the influence of this mighty anthem and the album from which it was spawned. (In the USA it appeared on the revamped "Desolation Boulevard L.P. which actually contained more songs from "Sweet Fanny Adams" than it did its European namesake.)
