The Scapegoat is a 1959 Anglo-US crime mystery thriller film. It features Alec Guinness, Nicole Maurey, Bette Davis, Pamela Brown, Geoffrey Keen, Peter Bull, and Eddie Byrne. An Englishman in France unwittingly is placed into the identity, and steps into the vacated life, of a look-alike French nobleman.
