"𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝘁, 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵, 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻"🤠 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝘼 𝘽𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙮 𝙃𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙄𝙨 𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙤 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄𝙣 🤠𝐀 𝐊𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 "𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐑𝐲𝐚𝐧" 𝐓𝐨 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞🤠 A bounty hunter trying to bring a murderer to justice is forced to accept the help of two less than trustworthy strangers. Howard Kemp is a bounty hunter who's been after killer Ben Vandergroat for a long time. Along the way, Kemp is forced to take on a couple of partners, an old prospector named Jesse Tate and a dishonorably discharged Union soldier, Roy Anderson. When they learn that Vandergroat has a $5000 reward on his head, greed starts to take the better of them. Vandergroat takes every advantage of the situation sowing doubt between the two men at every opportunity finally convincing one of them to help him escape.

A bit of movie trivia.
01: The film takes place in 1868 per the date on the wanted poster, however, James Stewart wears a California Conservation Corp jacket which wasn't available until 1935.

03: The first theatrical film written by Sam Rolfe and Harold Jack Bloom, who shared an Oscar nomination for their work. Rolfe would go on to be a prolific TV writer and producer of such series as Have Gun - Will Travel (1957) and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964), while Bloom would have 48 writing and eight producer credits over the next 35 years.
