Consuela or 'The New Mrs Saunders' ... Jessica, the second Mrs Saunders, arrives with her new husband John at his country estate. Very much left to her own devices she is unnerved by the power that Consuela, the sinister Spanish housekeeper,seems to wield, comparing her to John's first wife and forbidding her to enter a mysterious locked room. It features Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, Adrian Edmondson, Peter Richardson, and Rik Mayall. The Comic Strip Presents is a British anthology series of television comedy films, which began airing in 1982. They are noted for a high sense of parody of previous films, literature, and generally everyone who is anyone.
