This loveable bulldog may have been born with half a spine and no legs, but nothing looks to be getting in his way.
Bonsai, a six-month-old dog rescue pup who has a human condition called Sacral Agenesis (Caudal Regression Syndrome) and Sacrocaudal Dysgenesis - likely combined with a variation of Spina Bifida - has become something of an internet sensation.
In layman's terms Bonsai was born with only half of his spine, no functional pelvis and with tiny contracted hind legs, which had to be amputated in June.
He was surrendered to by his breeder at three weeks of age. Private rescue home Friends Of Emma, based in Texas, took him under its wing.

Perhaps it's the way he bounds joyfully towards his toys or the way he cruises in his own doggy vehicle - seemingly undaunted by his physical limitations - that's garnered him much attention.
Now, with help from online fundraising, Bonsai is receiving ongoing expenses for his care while custom-built wheels to enable him to move around more freely are being donated by the company creating them.
His rescue home says: "To our knowledge, there is not another documented case worldwide, of an animal living with Sacral Agenesis.
"He is a source of joy, positive outlook, compassion and silly sweet humour with his daily antics - to the thousands who follow his journey on his Facebook and Instagram pages - we're glad to have you along!"
