The Errand is a 1980 British short thriller film. It features Edward Kalinski, Peter Howell, Ray Roberts, Dorothy Alison, Peter Ashley, and Brian Attree. A soldier at an elite military institution is sent on a strange and increasingly nightmarish mission in this full-on fever-dream thriller. A film restored by the BFI (British Film Institute) and released as part of the BFI Flipside 'Short Sharp Shocks (1949-1986)' series of DVD's. A collection which revisits the heyday of the supporting programme with a compendium of eerie and eccentric British short films.
