12-year-old Franny Philips (Trini Alvarado) is going through a tough time because her parents are divorcing.
But she is encouraged when she becomes friends with Jamie Harris (Jeremy Levy) whose parents divorced years ago.
Jamie tells Franny that there are some advantages of being a child of divorce and makes such a convincing argument that he almost begins to believe it himself.
