Pollock And Pollock News Channel Ad/Music, Review/Critique (non profit/educational): The magnificent Marge Rosenberg aka Krisy Hoffman makes a cameo appearance here. The fabulous Dancing Girl, dancing to Stelar's "Booty Swing", and "Cleo Panther" (unbelievably charismatic lead singer of the Parov Stelar Band) with "Chambermaid Swing", feature the tunes which these ads are based on. Do major advertisers like Chevrolet, Bicardi, and Cosmopolitan Hotel Las Vegas think Parov Stelar will sell their product? You bet! Is there a band anywhere in the world as successful getting their music into advertising as the Parov Stelar Band? It's hard to think of anyone. They are the leaders of the "electro swing" movement. Undeniably the best music to dance to in the world. It's based on 1930's swing and jazz. Really an updated form. Some people who hear these ads (which is all over TV) might not know who is playing this wonderful music, because the ads don't state so. Hopefully, this wll help a little. If there's one band you purchase whose music won't let you down, it's the Parov Stelar Band. Their music (and brilliantly produced ads) all containing wit, color, flavor, excellent production and fabulous editing, all rate 5***** out of 5. The Chevrolet Trax ad is a parody of the wonderful Woody Allen movie "Midnight In Paris". It's the scene where Own Wilson gets into the car and goes back in time to the party world of Ernest Hemingway and other literary figures of the1930's. If you haven't seen that movie, do so. It's wonderful. Current instrumentation of the Parov Stelar Band is as follows: Max the Sax aka Markus Ecklmayr (sax), Jerry Di Monza aka Gerd Rahstorfer (trumpet), Cleo Panther aka Daniela Hrenek (vocals), Willie Larsson Jr. aka Hans-Juergen Bart (drums), Michael Wittner (bass), Parov Stelar aka Marcus Fuereder (programming) Former members of the Parov Stelar Band include: Beate Baumgartner (vocals), Gianna Charles (vocals), Stefan Hölzl (bass), Eva Klampfer (vocals), Andi Lettner (drums), Wolf Myer (drums)
