S8 Ep6 - The Millenium Experience (1999)

In the last episode of the TV comedy, as Ben panics about fears of the "Millenium Bug", Bill is determined that the family will see in the New Year and Century without a hitch. However, no one reckoned on Ben's sister Tina turning up unexpectedly. And just to compound things, the entire street loses all it's electricity after workmen investigate fears of a gas leak. Can things get any worse? This is from an old video tape I have of when it was actually broadcast on December 30th 1999. It wasn't intended to be the last episode in the series, but Gary Olsen's untimely death just months later made this a fitting finale for the hugely popular TV series, which was at it's best from 1991-95. As JeffBox2 has uploaded most of the series, I shall likely only upload the few missing episodes from his collection to complete the series. And note that after the credits have rolled, it has the disclaimer (sadly cut off at the end) that "you may like to know there are no episodes at all of 2point4 Children available to buy", which was something that Gary Olsen was always noting with the lack of support the BBC showed the series. Sadly, it is still very much true now over 20 years on. Thank goodness for JeffBox2's uploads.
