Bergerac - Sea Changes (1989)

An episode that started the 7th series of Bergerac, called Sea Changes and broadcast January 28th 1989. In this episode, a sailor is found dead floating in the water alongside a barrel of chemicals. Jim Bergerac is called to investigate, but is not happy about being paired with ambitious young WPC Maria Duvane. And things are further complicated when a woman reports that her friend has gone missing one night after going to meet up with a man. As to turns out, she is not the only woman to of gone missing over the last few months... This episode stars John Nettles, Louise Jameson, Terence Alexander, Sean Arnold, Denica Fairman, Angela Morant, Sean Caffrey and Amanda Elwes (in one of her earliest screen roles).
