ΓΕΝΝΗΘΗΚΑ ΓΙΑ ΣΕΝΑ -BORN FOR YOU. (ΑΣΠΑΣΙΑ ΜΠΟΓΡΗ)

This song is dedicated to Aspasia Mpogri and her service dog Mike. Aspasia was a 17year old healthy girl and had a great , not concerned life until the day that her own father shot her on the head for revenge reasons. Aspasia has 99% disability and she is being treated for the last 3years in ''Αnimus'' rehabilitation and recovery center.Her mother is always by her side and she is doing everything she can to help Aspasia. She found out about the service dogs and their ability to help people with disabilities and contacted Elena Palagka in order to have a service dog for Aspasia. Elena Palagka is the only certified service dog trainer in Greece through Nina service dogs organization . Elena started Mike's training , a Labrador retriever who is going to be not only Aspasia's service dog but the first service dog in Greece. Many people support Aspasia and her mother during all this period until today. They organized fundraisings , concerts e.t.c in order to help Aspasia. Elena, Mike's trainer, loves to compose and sing and by being very close to Aspasia, she was inspired deeply resulting to write a song about Mike's and Aspasia's relationship. The lyrics are about Mike, who is telling to Aspasia that he was born for her and he will always be next to her,care and love her. Miracles can happen if we believe and he will be her own miracle. Many people got involved among them celebrities too, from Greece and the U.S. and helped for the production of the song without any personal benefit. We would like to send a message to all the people through this song , a message to love, respect and help our fellow men, adults and children with disabilities because they all deserve to have the same rights as everybody and live happily themselves and their families. Mike is Aspasia's miracle, we all can be someone else's miracle too.
